I have called this introduction to sitting meditation “Breath of Life”. It is suitable for beginners, but can also be used as a guided short meditation.
Concentration on the breath is the gateway to meditation in many wisdom traditions. The goal is both to awaken your inner smile and to activate your self-healing powers. Relaxed and refreshed, you can return to everyday life after a short time.
By the way: If you have difficulties in meditating or are still unsure which way is the most suitable for you, I will be happy to develop an individual meditation practice together with you in a personal training.
Before you start, please make sure that you are undisturbed for the next 15 minutes or so. If you like, scent the room and light a candle. Then find a comfortable sitting position, either on a chair or on a meditation cushion or stool on the floor. You may also want to put a blanket around you to feel warm and safe.
